General Information

The Mileage Keeper is a compact computer for your vehicle that can track your mileage, time, speed and keep memos to simplify reporting IRS auto expenses.

The IRS mileage deduction for 2002 is 36.5 cents per mile, don't miss deducting the miles that you are entitled to !!! If you pick up 100 miles a month ($36.50), by logging miles that you may be missing because you forgot to write them down, you will pay for the Mileage Keeper in under a year.

The Mileage Keeper tracks:

Miles mode keeps current records for tax purposes, daily logs, fleet management and mileage reimbursement. - records 500 trips each with: (Satisfies IRS contemporaneous log)
Date the trip started
Destination or Customer to be visited
Total mileage traveled in one tenth (0.1) mile increments with a maximum of 999.9 miles in a single trip.
Time when trip was started
Vehicle used (max. 2)
In Measure mode, the display will show an additional measurement in 0.01 mile increments.
Special mode allows monitoring of driving habits of teenagers or employees - records 200 movements of the vehicle with:
Date started
Time started
Time Stopped
Miles traveled
Maximum speed (99 mph max. recorded).
Time mode is useful for tracking service calls or customer contacts - records 100 events with:
Date started
Destination or customer
Start time
Stop time.
Memos track gas purchases, oil changes, telephone numbers and etc. - records 100 memos with:
Date
Memo (20 characters max.).
