The Mileage Keeper is a compact (7" x 5.25" x 1.5") mileage computer that can replace Vehicle Mileage logs and Vehicle Hourly logs. Fleet management will be easier and more automatic with the use of the Mileage Keeper. Operation can be in an active mode, the operator enters information, or a passive mode with no operator interaction. Transfer information directly into a computer, bypassing the requirement for manual data entry.

Token operation eliminates the need to remove the Mileage Keeper to transfer information to or from your computer database. You can use the Token to input data to the Mileage Keeper, giving you the control over what choices the operator can choose from. For instance, the selection of different cost centers to assign the trip to.

Simple connection into the speedometer on the vehicle enables easily tracking the mileage and/or hourly use of the vehicle.

Automatic operation records the use of the vehicle without operator having to enter the Start time, Stop time or odometer reading.

Removable Data Token operation:

After the Data Token is inserted into the Mileage Keeper, depending on the configuration, the operating data collected by the Mileage Keeper is transferred to the Token. The Token is then taken to a collection point where the Reader/Writer is connected to a computer. When the Token is inserted into the Reader/Writer the data is checked for the dates it covers.

The application program is started on the computer. Screen will show :

The program will show the dates of the data in the Token to be downloaded, in this example only data from May is available. After clicking on MAY and then OK the next screen shows:

 

This display shows the Token is in and ready to be READ.
Click on Get Data From Token.

The data has now been transferred to the computer and is ready to be saved. Click on Save Data and the data is saved in an ACCESS^tm database. From this database you can generate reports, charts, and graphs; and transferring the data to a corporate or separate accounting database can be done as well.
